EN 1.4113 Stainless Steel Strips Thickness 0.3 - 3.0mm 2B Bright Anneal AISI434 SS Strip Roll
As a type of ferritic stainless steel strip, grade 434 stainless steel strip has a lower chromium level than grade 430 strip.
But it also has reduced formability, tensile strength and corrosion resistance.
Just like other types of stainless steel strips, it has excellent resistance to oxidation up to 1500°F.
Alloy 434 stainless steel strip is one of the most widely used of the ferritic stainless steels. It can be heat treated to high strength levels while maintaining good corrosion resistance in the annealed condition and is particularly resistant to nitric acid solutions.
434 is a ferritic stainless steel which has good resistance in mildly corrosive environments. It has good heat resistance and good scaling resistance up to 815 °C (1500 °F).
434 stainless steel alloy provides good corrosion and oxidation resistance. This alloy contains 16% chromium, and its high nickel content makes it resistant to most active chemical agents.
434 stainless steel is non-hardenable by heat treatment, and in this case we can achieve tempering temperatures between 550 – 650°C.
Typical applications for stainless steel 434 strip include:
