Classification of galvanized coils:
- Hot dip galvanized steel coil. The thin steel coil is immersed in the molten zinc bath, so that the thin steel coil with a layer of zinc adheres to its surface. At present, it is mainly produced by continuous galvanizing process, that is, galvanized steel coils are made by continuously immersing coiled steel plates in a plating tank with molten zinc;
- Alloyed galvanized steel coil. This kind of steel coil is also manufactured by the hot dip method, but immediately after it is out of the tank, it is heated to about 500 ℃ to form an alloy coating of zinc and iron. This galvanized coil has good paint adhesion and weldability;
- Electro-galvanized steel coil. The galvanized steel coil produced by the electroplating method has good workability. However, the coating is thinner, and the corrosion resistance is not as good as that of hot-dip galvanized coils;
- Single-sided and double-sided differentially galvanized steel coils. Single-sided galvanized steel coils, i.e. products that are galvanized on only one side. It has better adaptability than double-sided galvanized coils in welding, painting, anti-rust treatment, processing, etc. In order to overcome the shortcoming of uncoated zinc on one side, there is another galvanized coil coated with a thin layer of zinc on the other side, that is, double-sided differential galvanized coil;
- Alloy, composite galvanized steel coil. It is a steel coil made of zinc and other metals such as lead and zinc, or even composite plated. This steel coil has both excellent anti-rust properties and good coating properties.
