254 SMO (UNS S31254) is an austenitic stainless steel that is compatible with other austenitic stainless steels and is designed with high levels of chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen for maximum pitting and crevice corrosion resistance.
The 254 SMO Pipe is an example of a high austenitic grade pipe. It has three times the strength of stainless steel 300 series. SMO 254 Pipe resists pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking effectively. The high ductility and impact strength of 254 SMO Tubing are well known.
The standard size of SMO 254 pipes is 1/8” NB- 12” NB. The products available are seamless, LSAW pipes, ERW, Fabricated, and Welded. We manufacture different types of SMO 254 like SMO 254 Bars, SMO 254 Sheets and Plates, etc. The available length of pipe is in single and double random and also required length. Its end is a Plain end, Threaded, and beveled end. The pipes are round, pancake coils, square tubes, U-shape, Hydraulic tubes, rectangular pipes, and coiled tubes. These pipes are available in custom-built thicknesses and sizes per the requirements of various users for various purposes.
The pipes product standards are as follows for seamless tube and pipe- EN 10216-5, ASTM A269, NFA 49-217, A213 and A312; Welded tubes and pipes- A409, ASTM A249, A312, A269, A358; Fitting- ASTM A182; Forged product- ASTM A473; Bar- EN 10088-3, ASTM A276, A479.
The SMO 254 pipes are supplied in the dimension of 230 millimeters. The delivery condition is either white pickled or solution annealed into a brighter annealing process. Its supply forms are cast products, bat steel, welded tubes and pipes, forged products, and fittings and flanges.
